Strive CEO Predicts Strong Upward Trend for Bitcoin After 23% Weekly Surge
Bitcoin has seen significant gains in recent weeks, rising by approximately 23% in the last week to trade above $77,000.
This surge has also impacted other altcoins, with Ethereum up 30%, Solana up 25%, and XRP up 47% over the same period.
Matt Cole, CEO of Strive, believes that this rise indicates the end of the bear market in Bitcoin and predicts a strong upward trend for BTC in the next 12 to 18 months.
Cole bases his prediction on the performance of Bitcoin against gold, noting that BTC's peak against gold occurred in December 2024, while its peak against the US dollar was reached approximately a year later, in October 2025. He also points out that similar patterns emerged at the bottom levels, with Bitcoin's bottom against gold occurring in February 2026 and its bottom in dollar terms five months later.
