Strive Eyes Second-Largest Public Bitcoin Holding by End of 2026
Strive CEO Matt Cole predicts that his company could become the second-largest public holder of Bitcoin (BTC) by the end of 2026. This would put Strive ahead of current number two Twenty One Capital, which holds a stash of 43,514 BTC.
To achieve this goal, Strive would need to purchase roughly 1,200 BTC each week for the next 17 weeks. However, Cole notes that this is entirely possible, as Twenty One has not acquired any new Bitcoin since July 2025.
Strive already holds a total of 23,156 BTC worth nearly $1.9 billion and ramped up its Bitcoin purchases in August, acquiring 3,156 BTC. This compares to just 136 BTC in July, when the price was around $62,000.
Cole also predicts that Bitcoin could climb above $500,000 by 2030, although he notes that Strive's balance sheet does not depend on this outcome.
