Strive Hits 20,000 BTC Milestone in Aggressive Accumulation Campaign
Strive Inc., a Nasdaq-listed treasury company trading under the ticker ASST, has reached a significant milestone in its corporate Bitcoin accumulation campaign. With the latest purchase of 79 BTC, Strive's total holdings now stand at 20,000 BTC.
This marks a remarkable achievement for the company, which did not exist as a Bitcoin treasury entity until September 2025. Initially, it started with just 69 BTC acquired through a Section 351 exchange and has since aggressively accumulated more than 300 times its initial holdings.
Strive's CEO, Matt Cole, has been vocal about treating Bitcoin as the company's primary reserve asset, not as a speculative bet but rather a deliberate capital allocation philosophy. He emphasizes that investors should track the BTC-per-share metric to gauge the effectiveness of this strategy, rather than just focusing on the raw Bitcoin count.
With its cash position standing at $157.4 million as of July 17, 2026, Strive's balance sheet is structurally long Bitcoin, leaving limited room for hedging without undermining the core thesis. This concentrated exposure to a single volatile asset means that if Bitcoin experiences a prolonged drawdown, Strive's book value will compress accordingly.
