Strive Keeps Buying BTC as Strategy Remains Silent
Strategy Investments, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, has been quiet about its recent investments. In a surprising move at the start of the month, it acquired a large amount of BTC but hasn't made any public statements since then.
In contrast, Strive, led by Matt Cole, continues to accumulate Bitcoin, adding another 469 units to its stash. The total holdings now stand at 25,000 BTC.
Strategy's CEO Michael Saylor mentioned that the company's cryptocurrency stash remains at 845,050 BTC, acquired at an average price of $75,412 per unit. The firm has spent over $63.7 billion to acquire this fortune over the past six years and its current value is about $2 billion higher.
Strategy made only one purchase in the last almost three months, which was announced on September 1st. At that time, the company spent $370 million to buy back 4,603 BTC after selling at lower prices.
Strive's acquisition of additional Bitcoin comes as a stark contrast to Strategy's limited activity. The firm has purchased more BTC over the past week, bringing its total holdings to 25,000 units.
