Strive Leaps to Fifth-Largest Publicly Traded Bitcoin Treasury

Strive, a Nasdaq-listed company, has become the fifth-largest publicly traded Bitcoin treasury after purchasing 1,800 BTC for $143 million between August 24 and August 28. The company bought the coins at an average price of $79,431 per BTC.

This latest buy brings Strive's total Bitcoin holdings to 23,156 BTC, worth around $1.8 billion at current prices.

The company's stock (NASDAQ: ASST) surged by nearly 9% intraday on Monday after the news of the purchase was announced.

Strive's year-to-date Bitcoin yield, a metric that compares growth in Bitcoin holdings relative to share count, reached 40.8% as of August 28, up from less than 37% in early June.
