Strive Sets Record with 220-Bitcoin Acquisition Streak
Strive, an asset management firm co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, has made significant strides in acquiring Bitcoin through its preferred stock offering. Over an 11-day fundraising streak, Strive raised enough capital to purchase 220 BTC, bringing its total Bitcoin treasury to over 23,000 BTC.
The company uses a unique approach to fund its purchases, issuing variable rate perpetual preferred stock with a $500 million at-the-market authorization established in December 2025. This structure sidesteps the refinancing risk associated with convertible debt and margin calls, allowing Strive to accumulate Bitcoin without incurring significant debt.
Strive's recent buying activity has shown accelerating momentum, with the latest streak representing a meaningful step up in pace. The company initiated its SATA perpetual preferred stock through an IPO in November 2025, raising $149.3 million to fund an initial procurement of 1,567 BTC. Since then, Strive has escalated its asset base to over 23,000 BTC.
