Strive Signals Another Possible Bitcoin Acquisition
Strive has signaled another potential Bitcoin acquisition after its holdings reached 23,156 BTC. The company's chairman and CEO, Matt Cole, posted on X with the message 'Wall-breaking season at Strive,' which suggests a possible new purchase may be announced soon.
The hint follows Strive's previous purchase of 1,800 BTC between August 24 and 28. According to a SEC filing, the company paid an average of $79,431 per coin, including fees and expenses, bringing the total cost to about $143 million.
Cole has stated that Strive could acquire over 20,000 additional BTC by year's end, which would move it past Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA Holdings to become the second-largest corporate Bitcoin holder behind Strategy.
