Strive Snaps Up $61M in Bitcoin, Boosts Holdings to 14,557 Coins
Strive, a Bitcoin treasury firm, acquired 789 BTC for $61.43 million last week at an average price of $77,890 per coin. The purchase brings Strive's total holdings to 14,557 BTC, valuing its position at approximately $1.3 billion.
The acquisition places Strive ninth among corporate holders, ahead of miner Hut 8 and behind Coinbase in the Bitcoin Treasuries data.
Strive issues a preferred security called the Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, under the ticker SATA. The firm raised around $160 million through SATA's initial offering and approximately $225 million in its follow-on offering.
