Strive Snaps Up Another 1,110 Bitcoin for $81.5 Million
Strive, an asset manager, has continued to expand its digital asset treasury by acquiring another 1,110 Bitcoin for $81.5 million last week. This purchase brings Strive's total holdings to 21,356 BTC, with the company's cash pile growing to $171.9 million while it was buying bitcoin.
The average cost of each coin purchased was around $73,409 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses, according to a regulatory filing by Strive. Chairman and CEO Matt Cole announced the transaction on X, stating that 'Strive acquired an additional 1,110 BTC for $81.5M at an average cost of $73,409 per bitcoin, bringing total holdings to ₿21,356.'
With a cash pile of around $171.9 million and a bitcoin stash worth approximately $1.65 billion to $1.7 billion at recent prices, Strive has firmly established itself among the bigger publicly traded corporate bitcoin holders less than a year after launching its public treasury strategy.
