Strive Snaps Up Over 23,000 Bitcoin with Preferred Stock Program
Strive, Inc.'s preferred stock program has enabled it to accumulate over 23,000 Bitcoin since late 2025. The company's Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, ticker SATA, allows Strive to buy new shares at market prices and use the proceeds to purchase Bitcoin. This approach has been remarkably consistent, with a recent stretch of nine days seeing the program generate funding for 104 BTC purchases.
The preferred shares have a par value of $100 and pay a variable annualized dividend of around 13%. When SATA trades near or above its par value, Strive activates an at-the-market (ATM) facility to sell new shares into the market. The proceeds go directly toward buying Bitcoin.
Strive's Bitcoin holdings have grown dramatically in a short period, with no long-term corporate debt on the balance sheet. This is notable in a landscape where several other companies have layered convertible notes and term loans onto their equity raises.
