Strive Stock Surges as Dallas Asset Manager Boosts Bitcoin Holdings
Strive, Inc., an asset manager based in Dallas, made its largest single-week bitcoin purchase last week, snapping up 1,110 coins at an average price of $73,409 per bitcoin. This buy raises the company's holdings by roughly 5.5% and brings its total to 21,356 coins, according to a Monday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The purchase was made from August 17 through August 21 using proceeds from at-the-market offerings of Strive's ASST and SATA shares. The company funded this buy, which totals near $81.5 million including fees and expenses, after reporting cash and cash equivalents stood at $171.9 million in July.
Strive's stock (Nasdaq: ASST) soared following the news, with shares trading over 7% higher on Monday. The company rebranded in 2025 as the first publicly traded asset-management bitcoin treasury company and completed an all-stock acquisition of Semler Scientific in January 2026.
