Strive Surges Past Bullish with $143M Bitcoin Purchase
Strive, a publicly traded asset manager and Bitcoin treasury company, has added significantly to its holdings. The company acquired 1,800 BTC for $143 million between August 24th and August 28th, paying an average price of $79,431 per coin.
This purchase brought Strive's total holdings to 23,156 BTC, up from 21,356 a week earlier. CEO Matt Cole confirmed the acquisition on Monday, stating that the company has accelerated its Bitcoin accumulation in recent weeks.
Strive surpassed Bullish to become the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin. The latest purchase increased Strive's holdings by roughly 8.4% in just five business days, according to Adam Livingston, an adviser to Saturn Credit.
