Strive Surpasses $2 Billion Valuation with Record Bitcoin Acquisition
Strive has made another significant addition to its Bitcoin stash, announcing an acquisition of 1,375 units at an average price of $79,281. This latest purchase brings the company's total holdings above 24,500 BTC, with a USD valuation of over $1.9 billion based on the current market price of $78,200.
This move is consistent with Strive's pattern of frequent Bitcoin purchases, which sets it apart from other companies like Strategy that have taken a more conservative approach to crypto investments. In contrast to Strategy, which has recently refocused on repurchasing its own shares, Strive continues to aggressively add to its Bitcoin stash.
Strive's CEO, Matt Cole, made the announcement on X, noting that 70% of the capital raised last week came from $SATA, which now boasts a notional outstanding value of $999 million. The company's Bitcoin holdings have seen significant growth in recent weeks, with Strive adding 1,800 BTC for $143 million just last week.
