Strive Surpasses 25,000 BTC, Targets Second Place in Bitcoin Holdings
Strive's Bitcoin holdings have reached 25,000 BTC, valued at approximately $1.95 billion, according to a recent Form 8-K filing.
The company achieved this milestone following new purchases made last week, where it spent $36.6 million for 469 BTC. The average purchase price was slightly under $78,000 per Bitcoin.
Strive's CEO Matt Cole announced that all of the capital raised during the week came from SATA sales, with the total nominal value of the company's perpetual preferred stock also surpassing $1 billion.
The 'amplification ratio' rose to 53.5 percent, defined as the nominal value of preferred shares and debt relative to the net asset value of Bitcoin.
For Strive to surpass Twenty One and claim second place among public companies, it needs to acquire an additional 18,515 BTC, assuming this company does not increase its current holdings of 43,514 BTC.
