Strive Swells Bitcoin Holdings to 23,156 BTC After $143M Purchase
Strive, a company listed on Nasdaq under the ticker ASST, has made another significant Bitcoin purchase. The firm bought 1,800 BTC at an average price of $79,431 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 23,156 BTC.
This is part of Strive's aggressive Bitcoin treasury strategy, as described by CEO Matt Cole. The latest tranche raised Strive's total holdings to a value of about $1.76 billion at the reference price cited in the disclosure.
Strive's stock has been performing well, with ASST trading at around $23 on August 31, up about 6% on the day. Over the past six months, the stock has gained approximately 165%.
The company financed its purchases through at-the-market programs using ASST common stock and SATA preferred stock. The latest filing showed outstanding Class A common shares increased by 3.58 million during the week.
