Strive Teases New Bitcoin Buy Amid ASST Stock Surge
Strive, a Bitcoin treasury firm, is hinting at another significant Bitcoin purchase. The announcement of this new buy may come as soon as tomorrow, according to an X post by Strive's CEO, Matt Cole.
Cole shared the company's Bitcoin portfolio tracker on Twitter with the caption 'Wall-breaking season at Strive.' This type of post has preceded previous announcements of BTC buys, and the company has recently increased its purchases. In recent weeks, Strive acquired 1,800 BTC, bringing its total holdings to 23,156 BTC.
The firm currently ranks as the fifth-largest Bitcoin treasury firm, trailing Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA Holdings. However, with a preferred security in SATA, which has helped fund some of its latest purchases, Strive may be poised for further growth. Strive's CEO has stated that it is 'not out of the realm of possibility' for the company to end the year as the second-largest BTC holder.
The ASST stock, representing Strive's common equity, recently reached a year-to-date high above $27. The stock has surged over 78% this year and is currently the best-performing asset among top 10 BTC treasury firms. This surge can be attributed to Bitcoin's rebound in price, which has risen from around $63,000 to as high as $82,000.
