Strive Teases New BTC Buy as ASST Stock Hits All-Time High
Strive, a Bitcoin treasury firm led by CEO Matt Cole, has hinted at another significant purchase of BTC. In an X post, Cole shared Strive's Bitcoin portfolio tracker with the caption 'Wall-breaking season at Strive,' which has notably preceded previous announcements of new BTC buys. The company recently acquired 1,800 BTC, bringing its total holdings to 23,156 BTC.
Strive's ambitions were highlighted by CEO Matt Cole in a recent statement that it could buy over 20,000 BTC and end the year as the 2nd-largest Bitcoin treasury firm behind Strategy. The company currently uses SATA stock as its preferred security, which has helped fund some of its latest purchases.
ASST stock, Strive's common equity, recently reached a YTD high above $27 and is up over 78% since the start of the year. The surge in ASST stock comes as Bitcoin prices have rebounded from around $63,000 to as high as $82,000.
