Strive's BTC Holdings Rise, But Exposure Per Share Declines
Bitcoin treasury firm Strive added to its Bitcoin holdings in July, buying 20 BTC at an average price of approximately $63,191. The purchase took place from July 27 through July 31.
The company's gross Bitcoin exposure per effective common share decreased by roughly 0.03% during the period, according to its August 3 filing with no explanation for the transaction.
Strive's Class A shares increased by 110,000, while its Bitcoin holdings rose from 20,000 BTC on July 24 to 20,020 BTC on July 31. The effective common share count also rose, from 84,099,973 to 84,209,973.
The company's stated goal is to increase Bitcoin per share in the long term, but this week's numbers point in the opposite direction. Strive reported a slight decline of 0.0260% in gross Bitcoin exposure, from approximately 23,069.4 satoshis per share on July 24 to 23,063.4 satoshis per share on July 31.
