Strive's Slight Decline: 20,000 BTC Milestone Masks Share Dilution

Strive, the Bitcoin treasury company, reached an impressive milestone last week by crossing 20,000 BTC in its holdings. However, a closer look at the numbers reveals that despite this significant increase, investors actually ended up owning slightly less of it.

The purchase of 79 additional BTC from July 20 to July 24 lifted Strive's holdings to 20,000 BTC, but the company also saw an increase in its Effective Common Shares Outstanding by 430,000. This means that while the total number of BTC held by Strive increased, the amount per share actually decreased.

The average price of the purchased BTC was around $65,723 per coin, including fees and expenses. However, Strive's cash movement does not explain how this acquisition was financed, leaving investors with questions about the company's financial management.
