Strive's Stock Soars on Massive Bitcoin Purchase, But Valuation Remains Volatile
Strive's stock price rose by 9.43% to $21.59 on Tuesday, after the company announced its biggest weekly acquisition of 1,110 Bitcoin for $81.5 million.
The purchase increased Strive's treasury holdings by 5.48%, bringing its total to 21,356 coins. However, the number of effective common shares rose by 4.24%, resulting in a bitcoin per share increase of just 1.19%.
This means that despite the significant acquisition, the company's common stock valuation remains highly responsive to Bitcoin and potential new issuance.
Strive's balance sheet has been expanding rapidly, with assets reaching $1.38 billion as of June, and cash holdings increasing by $17.1 million in the last week alone.
