STX Price Surges as Stacks Breaks Key Trendline and PoX-5 Upgrade Boosts Bitcoin-Staking Narrative

The price of Stacks' native token STX has surged by 13% in recent days, pushing towards $0.24 as buyers reclaim a key resistance structure that had capped the asset for months.

This move comes on the back of broad crypto-market momentum, with Bitcoin's rebound to nearly $80,000 lifting liquidity across major altcoins.

However, STX is benefiting from additional catalysts specific to the Stacks ecosystem. The PoX-5 upgrade has gone live, establishing infrastructure for Bitcoin staking and bonds on the network.

The Genesis Bond, a Bitcoin-staking cycle designed initially for pre-approved institutions, is also preparing to launch around September 10, with block 966,350 expected to trigger it.

With this momentum building, analysts see potential for STX to move beyond $0.25, with the next major supply zone sitting at $0.40-$0.42.
