SUI Group Locks Up 6M SUI Tokens Under Uncollateralized Agreement with Bluefin Markets

SUI Group Holdings has entered into an uncollateralized agreement with Bluefin Markets, lending 6 million SUI tokens until September 30, 2028. The loan allows Bluefin to reuse the assets and gives SUI Group a share of Bluefin's revenue. However, this arrangement also increases the counterparty and liquidity risk for SUI Group.

The agreement was amended on June 19, increasing the loan from 2 million to 6 million SUI and raising SUI Group's fee from 5% to 11%. The fee is based on Bluefin's gross operating revenue across itself and associated companies. Payments are due twice monthly in SUI.

The $35,600 of digital-lending income reported by SUI Group in the second quarter was within $363,000 of its total revenue. However, the company did not disclose Bluefin's contribution to this revenue or the qualifying revenue used to calculate the fee.
