Sui's price surged 6.5% after the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) expanded its crypto derivatives offering to include Sui futures.

The CME development gives professional traders another way to manage exposure, hedge positions, or express a view on SUI without relying only on spot markets.

This matters because institutional access often changes how an asset trades. More derivatives can improve liquidity and bring new participants, but futures also allow traders to profit from both rising and falling prices.
