Sui Unveils Atomic Transaction Tech for AI Agents with 6.08 Million TPS
Sui, a high-throughput Layer-1 blockchain, has introduced a new atomic transaction technology designed for AI agents. The company demonstrated its programmable transaction block (PTB) technology at its Basecamp event.
The PTB feature allows up to 1,024 Move function calls to be executed in a single transaction, reducing the overhead and latency of separate transactions. If any part of the process fails, the entire transaction reverts, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Sui's transaction finality takes approximately 400 milliseconds, and the network reportedly achieved up to 6.08 million transactions per second (TPS) in controlled tests with AI agents. This scalability is crucial for AI agents that may need to process large volumes of micro-transactions or data requests in real-time.
