Super League Lands Massive Investment from Metaplanet
Super League Enterprise has secured significant funding through multiple financing agreements. The company announced that it had entered into a strategic subscription agreement with Metaplanet, receiving 2,100 Bitcoin valued at the August 14, 2026 Coinbase close price and $2.5 million in cash.
In exchange for these funds, Super League will issue common and preferred shares, as well as long-dated warrants. The deal also includes a five-year lock-up period and an option to subscribe up to $210 million of junior preferred stock over the next two years.
This investment positions Super League to become a controlled subsidiary upon closing. Additionally, the company has issued two-year warrants to Evo and exchanged pre-funded warrants with Esports Now and Evo.
