Superheat H1C Water Heater Generates Bitcoin While Heating Homes
The Superheat H1C, an award-winning water heater, is now available for pre-order. This innovative appliance combines Bitcoin mining and hot water production in one device.
According to Xin Yan, CEO of Superheat, the traditional electric water heater has been a major energy consumer in homes for over a century. The company's H1C model reimagines this equation by allowing electricity to perform valuable computational work before converting it into heat.
The system captures more than 99% of the heat generated during computation and uses it to produce hot water, making it possible for homeowners to generate Bitcoin while heating their homes.
The Superheat H1C has several features that make it a premium home appliance. It operates quietly at 38.4 dB(A), is plug-and-play, and comes with a smart mobile app for monitoring performance. The company offers an exclusive launch price of $2,999 for the Founding Batch, which includes a fully credited $199 reservation.
The Founding Batch pre-orders are now open on the Superheat website, with estimated delivery beginning in Q4 2026. This marks the first step towards a future where household electricity is used more efficiently and effectively.
