SuperVega has launched its public beta on Starknet, introducing options trading to the layer-2 network. This move allows users to place directional bets on cryptocurrency prices and profit from hitting specific price targets on digital assets.

The platform's approach differs from Carmine Options, which is already serving as the primary options trading protocol on Starknet. While Carmine offers European-style options on assets like ETH, STRK, and wBTC, SuperVega focuses on binary or target-based options.

This development comes amidst Starknet's broader push into derivatives infrastructure. The network has seen recent advancements, including the launch of strkBTC in May 2026 and the integration of liquid staking features in July 2026.
