Svanevik Stands Firm: Bitcoin's $60,000 Price Floor Here to Stay
Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik is confident that Bitcoin's price will never fall below $60,000 again. In an interview, he stated that prices below this threshold are 'now a thing of the past' and that he believes this will be the case forever.
This conviction is based on his analysis of ongoing monetary expansion by central banks worldwide. Svanevik sees Bitcoin as a hedge against central bank money printing and expects that this macroeconomic trend will continue to support the asset's price floor.
However, not everyone shares this view. Veteran digital asset investor Michael Turpin warned that 'the market still needs to experience more pain,' predicting that Bitcoin could fall to around $40,000, a roughly 66% decline from its all-time high of $126,100 recorded in October 2025.
Bitcoin's price has been trading within a narrow range centered around $60,000, lacking clear directional momentum. The debate among market participants is intensifying over whether Bitcoin has already confirmed its bottom and is preparing for a renewed rally or if it remains in the midst of a major correction.
