SVG Introduces Low-Cost Crypto License Amid Global Regulatory Shift
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has established a Virtual Asset Business Act, which governs all virtual asset service providers operating within its jurisdiction.
The FSA administers registration, conducts assessments, and enforces compliance requirements across all licensed entities under the VABA, which works alongside the Money Laundering and Financing of Crime Act to impose anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations on all financial service providers.
The total initial setup cost for a crypto license in SVG falls under $30,000, excluding the EC$100,000 (about $37,000) statutory deposit, making it cheaper than Cayman Islands licensing options, which can start at around $40,000.
