Swiss Bitcoin Pay Halted by Data Breach

Swiss Bitcoin Pay, a non-custodial bitcoin payment processor based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, temporarily shut down its servers after discovering a data breach on Monday.

The company said that user funds were safe and that any amounts owed to users would be fully returned.

A malicious user is believed to have gained access to Swiss Bitcoin Pay's internal systems, compromising customer email addresses, bitcoin addresses, IBANs, transaction history, and hashed passwords.
