SYRUP Soars 14% as Maple Finance Hits New Earnings High
Maple Finance's SYRUP token has experienced a significant surge in price, increasing by 14% over the past day. This rally is largely attributed to the protocol's strong performance, with earnings and total value locked (TVL) reaching new highs.
The latest data from DeFiLlama shows that Maple Finance generated $1.13 million in profit for August, its highest level since April 2026. TVL has also crossed $3 billion for the second time this year, reaching a peak of $3.07 billion on August 25th.
The concentration of capital among traders is evident, with many taking long positions on SYRUP contracts. Open Interest (OI) has surged 26% to $29 million, and the OI-Weighted Funding Rate remains positive at 0.0077%.
