Tangem Partners with India Blockchain Tour to Educate Users on Self-Custody
Global hardware wallet company Tangem has partnered with India Blockchain Tour (IBT) as a Powered By Partner for its 5th edition and flagship event Metamorphosis. This partnership aims to educate Indian crypto users about self-custody, private-key security, and the importance of controlling their own digital assets.
Tangem will distribute hundreds of hardware wallets across the India Blockchain Tour, which spans various cities starting with the flagship event Metamorphosis in Hyderabad. The company's hardware wallets use a certified EAL6+ secure element and are designed to keep private keys securely stored within the device.
According to Chainalysis' 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index, India ranked first globally in terms of crypto adoption. The country received approximately $338 billion in on-chain crypto value between July 2024 and June 2025. This makes India an important market for crypto security education.
