TAO Blasts Past Three-Month High as Raydium Integration Fuels Demand
TAO, the token of Bittensor, has seen a significant surge in price following its integration with Raydium. The coin reached a three-month high of $277 after previously flipping $250. This uptrend is part of a broader capital rotation within AI-themed tokens, which have seen their market cap increase by 5% to $19 billion.
The integration with Raydium has expanded Bittensor's user base, leveraging Solana's user base and connecting decentralized AI infrastructure with DeFi capital. This move has also led to the launch of a memecoin called BUTT on Solana, which was promoted through StonkFun's launchpad.
The success of BUTT has driven demand for TAO, with its market cap crossing $3 billion and trading volume rising 164% to $558 million. Investors have increased capital deployment significantly, with a positive delta recorded for five consecutive days on the Spot side.
On the derivatives side, traders have also increased participation, with Open Interest surging $428 million to a four-month high. This indicates that traders are opening new positions, both shorts and longs, resulting in strong speculative demand and Spot accumulation.
