TAO Crypto Holds Key Support After AEON Payment Integration Announcement
The TAO cryptocurrency has found support after AEON's announcement of integrating Bittensor's native token into its platform. This integration enables AI-native payments, autonomous commerce, and real-world spending in line with AEON's vision for an agentic economy. However, the long-term impact of this development will depend on whether it drives meaningful user activity, merchant adoption, and on-chain demand for TAO.
On the 1-day chart, a bullish structure was present before the support zone. The 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level is crucial to both bulls and bears, with the altcoin trading within a higher timeframe range. A recovery from the $160 area remains possible, but volume indicators showed mixed signals.
While the CMF was climbing higher, it did not indicate strong buying pressure due to the lack of above-average volume. The DMI also did not show a clear trend in progress, with both the -DI and +DI moving below the 20 threshold. This suggests that TAO bulls are struggling to boost themselves off the key support zone.
A price bounce from $194 and back toward $330 and $370 is expected based on price action alone. However, volume trends do not yet support this idea, and neither does the liquidation map. Heavy clusters of high-leverage short liquidations just above $200 threaten to pull TAO higher before continuing to fall due to a lack of demand.
