TAO Goes Live on Robinhood Chain via Forever Money Bridge
Bittensor's TAO has made its way onto Robinhood Chain via a bridge operated by Forever Money using Chainlink CCIP. This move comes after TAO's expansion to Base in August, and it brings the decentralized AI token to an L2 that processes billions of dollars in weekly DEX volume.
The bridge allows for a 1:1 representation of TAO on Robinhood Chain, with no subnet economy moves involved. Bittensor's underlying consensus remains untouched, and bridged TAO is treated as wrapped access rather than a migration.
For holders, the bull case is clear: more chains mean more potential liquidity and deeper pool depth. However, the bear case notes that Robinhood Chain has been subject to meme-heavy volume, which could limit TAO's impact if pools remain shallow.
The integration with Robinhood Chain is part of a broader trend in AI tokens seeking out new sources of liquidity beyond traditional crypto natives. Bittensor's strong institutional backing and the growth of CCIP's role in tokenization and cross-chain finance are also key factors in this development.
