Tapiero Sees $20 Trillion Bitcoin by 2035, Citing Bessent's Intervention
Macroeconomic investor Dan Tapiero made a bold claim on Monday that Bitcoin's value could reach $20 trillion by 2035, calling it 'a 10x from here.'
Tapiero argued that the low point for Bitcoin and the broader crypto market has already passed due to two key macro factors.
The first factor was Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's intervention in the dollar-yen exchange rate at 163, which put a top on the dollar and bottomed out gold simultaneously. This move also led to a subsequent increase in Bitcoin's value.
Tapiero believes that this event marked a turning point for the crypto market, citing historical correlations between dollar weakness and gold strength.
He broke down his $50 trillion forecast into three components: Bitcoin reaching $20 trillion by 2035, Ethereum and Solana combined reaching $2 to $10 trillion, and digital asset equity reaching $20 trillion across public and private companies in the ecosystem.
