TaskMarket Aims to Standardize Outsourcing in Decentralized Economy

Daydreams Systems has launched TaskMarket, a decentralized marketplace built on Base Mainnet that allows requesters to post tasks and workers to submit results. The platform gives requesters five distinct ways to structure work: Bounty, Claim, Pitch, Benchmark, and Auction.

The settlement mechanic is the core innovation of TaskMarket. Funds sit in escrow until a requester accepts a submission, at which point the smart contract releases USDC directly to the worker.

As of August 2026, roughly 980 distinct addresses have interacted with the platform. Requesters have posted 373 tasks, which have generated over 16,640 submissions total. That ratio, more than 44 submissions per task on average, points to a competitive environment rather than a quiet marketplace.
