Andrew Tate, a social media provocateur and former professional kickboxer, has made headlines again by claiming to have cashed out $500,000 in Bitcoin to invest in meme coins and GameStop. He is targeting an unnamed hedge fund manager who could potentially lose billions of dollars if the stock opens at its current price.

In a video posted on Twitter, Tate stated that 'there's a hedge fund manager who, when he wakes up tomorrow morning, if GameStop opens at the current price, he's gonna lose $13 billion dollars.'

This move is reminiscent of the 2021 GameStop phenomenon, where a Reddit-inspired hypothesis led to a surge in the stock's price. With the return of Roaring Kitty, an internet figure who spearheaded the movement, meme stock mania seems to be back.
