Tech Fund Inflows Smash Records with $131 Billion Surge
Technology fund inflows have surged to a record $131 billion year-to-date in 2026, surpassing the full-year 2025 total by about $50 billion. According to EPFR data, this marks the fourth consecutive annual increase in technology fund investments.
The current pace of inflows points to an annualized figure of approximately $216 billion if sustained throughout the year. This projection assumes investors maintain their current pace and could boost liquidity for crypto and DeFi fundraising, token launches, and broader adoption.
US equity funds have also recorded a record $652 billion in inflows this year, with technology fund investments outpacing them significantly. The red line in the chart highlights the difference between actual flows and the possible full-year total, which is projected at $216 billion by year-end.
