Telegram Integrates Perpetual Futures Trading Through Lighter DEX

The Open Platform has integrated Lighter's decentralized exchange into Wallet in Telegram, allowing over 150 million users to trade perpetual futures on more than 50 assets.

This move brings leveraged derivatives to one of the largest consumer-facing distribution channels in crypto. Users can open long or short positions directly inside the Telegram app with leverage up to 50x available.

The integration targets emerging markets where traditional brokerage access is limited, excluding users in the United States and the United Kingdom for now.
