Telegram Rolls Out Gram Wallet to Select Users Ahead of Wider Launch

Telegram has started rolling out its Gram Wallet to select users ahead of a wider launch. This non-custodial wallet is set to reach Telegram's billion-plus user base over the next few weeks, according to CEO Pavel Durov.

The company announced that validators have approved the smart contract powering the wallet, meaning future upgrades will not require users to migrate to new wallet contracts.

This move is part of several changes aimed at making non-custodial wallets more user-friendly, Telegram highlighted.
