TenX Bolsters Digital Asset Treasury with Venice Token Acquisition
TenX Protocols Inc., a blockchain infrastructure company listed on TSXV and OTCQB, has made an acquisition to bolster its digital asset treasury. On August 31 and September 4, the company bought a total of 7,710.98032 Venice Tokens (VVV) for approximately US$132,386.43 at a weighted average price of around US$17.17 per VVV.
The tokens were acquired through open-market and over-the-counter transactions. As of September 8, TenX held 7,703.771668 VVV in custody, which forms part of its existing multi-asset digital asset treasury strategy.
Mat Cybula, CEO of TenX, stated that the company views the use of tokens to coordinate access to artificial intelligence compute as a significant theme and considers VVV as an example of this mechanism. The acquisition aligns with TenX's approach to holding a set of digital assets and adding measured positions in assets connected to themes it considers important.
