TeraWulf's AI Pivot Gains Momentum, Outperform Rating Maintained
TeraWulf's transformation into an AI infrastructure provider is gaining momentum, according to Bernstein analysts.
The company's latest earnings report offered clear evidence that its strategy is translating into financial results, with $32 million in high-performance computing (HPC) revenue accounting for 71% of total revenue in Q2.
This marks a significant shift away from its legacy Bitcoin mining business and validates Bernstein's investment thesis that TeraWulf is evolving into a 'power landlord of AI' by monetizing large-scale power infrastructure for hyperscalers and AI companies.
The company expects to generate more than $1.8 billion in average annual revenue and over $1.5 billion in annual net operating income, based on its contracted backlog.
