Tether Abandons Blockchain Plans, Focuses on Agnostic Stablecoin Support

Tether has no plans to build its own blockchain, according to Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether. In an effort to maintain an agnostic approach, the company supports multiple transport layers for its stablecoins. This stance is in line with Ardoino's previous comments on the flaws in traditional finance.

Ardoino has been actively engaged with developments in the stablecoin and financial sectors. He had earlier described Tether as evidence of these flaws in traditional finance, detailing the company's mission in a public critique.
