Tether Expands QVAC with 80 New Local AI Lessons
Tether's AI platform, QVAC, has expanded its reach with an update to Tether Academy. The educational platform now boasts nearly 80 new lessons focused on local AI development using QVAC.
The addition of these new lessons signals the ambitions of QVAC, which aims to provide a more general-purpose AI toolkit beyond text-based models. One notable example is a music generation lesson, marking a first for the platform.
QVAC allows developers to run AI models locally across various operating systems without relying on cloud services. This approach addresses concerns around latency and data privacy. The open-source framework uses Vulkan for hardware-agnostic inference and supports P2P networking.
