Tether, Fasanara Capital Launch $400 Million Private Credit Fund
Tether and Fasanara Capital have launched a $400 million private credit fund called StableFund, which will use the stablecoin USDT to enable lending in the real economy.
The fund will be jointly invested by Tether and Fasanara Capital, with a total investment of $4 billion. The goal is to raise up to $30 billion from institutional investors.
Private credit refers to non-bank lenders providing loans directly to companies. StableFund will use funds collected from institutional investors to make short-term asset-backed loans.
