Tether, Fasanara Launch StableFund for Cross-Border Credit
Tether and London-based asset manager Fasanara Capital have launched StableFund, a private credit fund seeded with $400 million. The fund will focus on short-duration, asset-backed lending for small businesses and consumers across more than 60 countries.
Fasanara will manage the investments through its global network of fintech lending platforms, while Tether (USDT) will serve as originator and advisor, providing on- and off-ramp connections to facilitate cross-border credit deployment.
The two companies plan to raise up to $3 billion in additional capital from third-party institutional investors. StableFund operates under an evergreen structure, recycling capital as short-duration loans mature rather than being locked into a fixed timeline.
