Tether Powers Tokenization Push in Saudi Real Estate with First Data Partnership

Share

Tether has announced a partnership with Saudi payments and digital infrastructure provider First Data to bring tokenization of institutional-grade real estate assets to the Kingdom. The collaboration will utilize Tether's Hadron platform, which was launched in 2024 to manage the full lifecycle of tokenized assets.

First Data will serve as the commercial lead, issuer, and primary market operator for the tokenized real estate assets, while BKN301 will handle banking connectivity, compliance integration, and front-end support. The partnership is seen as a strategic move by Tether to tap into the growing demand for digital assets in Saudi Arabia.

The announcement comes amidst a broader push by Saudi Arabia to adopt blockchain technology as part of its Vision 2030 diversification strategy. Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, stated that 'Saudi Arabia stands out as an ideal market for demonstrating the transformative impact of platforms like Hadron by Tether.'
