Tether Teams Up With Nairobi Securities Exchange on Digital Asset Infrastructure
Tether has partnered with the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) to advance digital asset infrastructure in Kenya. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to connect traditional financial markets with blockchain technology.
The collaboration will explore digital asset education, blockchain infrastructure, and real-world asset tokenization opportunities. Tether and NSE will investigate the use of Hadron in tokenizing securities and its role in quick settlements, transparency, and fractional investing.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino noted that the deal is part of the company's strategy to promote digital assets in institutions with clear and efficient financial systems. The partnership also includes workshops and training sessions for NSE brokers and retail traders on digital asset education.
