Tether Ties Up with Fasanara for $400M Stable Fund Push
Tether and Fasanara Capital have launched StableFund, an evergreen private-credit vehicle backed by $400 million in sponsor co-investment. The fund will operate without a fixed termination date and is targeting up to $3 billion in additional third-party institutional capital.
The $400 million in sponsor capital will be deployed through fintech lending platforms in over 60 countries, focusing on short-duration, asset-backed credit for small and medium-sized enterprises and consumers. Fasanara Capital will manage StableFund's credit deployment, linking its lending activity to Tether's stablecoin infrastructure.
Tether will serve as co-sponsor, originator, and adviser to the fund, providing USDT-linked financing opportunities and settlement infrastructure. This integration is intended to connect the private-credit strategy with stablecoin-enabled lending and settlement mechanisms.
